Want to know where to get poached and sauced after a night of debauchery? Then check out this list of the best Boise brunch spots.

  1. The Modern Hotel and Bar-Whether you go for the truffled egg toast in a buttery bread box or the housemade corned beef on a pile of creamy cauliflower mash with wild mushrooms, Chef Alex gets it right every time. The fish sauce Bloody Mary with a Sriracha salt rim ain't too shabby, either.

  2. Red Feather Lounge-The second-floor booths at this brunch haven are appropriately dark enough to hide the bags under your eyes. Don't miss the Los Rancheros, with crispy corn tortillas, cheese, black beans and a fried egg.

  3. 36th Street Bistro-Snag a patio seat by the 36th Street Garden Center's gurgling fountain and snack on warm buttermilk biscuits with apple butter, eggs and Basque chorizo or hickory-smoked bacon.

  4. Fork-Though this wood-adorned Northwest bistro might draw you in the door with its Build-a-Bloody Mary Bar, its Fried Chicken and Ballard Cheddar Waffle Sliders will keep you dreaming of the spot until the following weekend.

  5. Goldy’s Breakfast Bistro-Ask anyone in Boise where to get brunch and they'll probably mention Goldy's Breakfast Bistro. While Goldy's serves solid, hollandaise-doused breakfast fare—bennys, hash, omelets—the Boise staple almost always has a line out the door. So be forewarned.

  6. Kindness-Swing by the revamped Owyhee Building's Kindness for a solid brunch, which features dishes like the Farmers Market Omelet with provalone, mushrooms, butternut squash and kale. The bright, sprawling space features stately columns and lovely crown molding sure to class up your morning.

  7. Saint Lawrence Gridiron-Barbecue and bourbon spot Saint Lawrence Gridiron serves its Steak and Eggs with a Southern twist—the dish comes with smoked brisket, grits, poached eggs and toast. The shrimp and grits are pretty awesome, too.

  8. Guru Donuts-If you prefer your morning meal on the sweeter side, stop by Guru Donuts' new downtown shop for a Hipsterberry, Vegan Chocolate Chocolate Chip or Bart Simpson donut. Or if you want something a little sweet and savory, snag a Maple Bacon Bar, which boasts candied bacon from Idaho Falls.

  9. Basque Market-Though this Basque-themed eatery only offers its Sheepherder's Breakfast once a month, it's worth planning ahead. The all-you-can-eat, family style meal includes: Sheepherders bread, chorizos, Basque potatoes, eggs pipparade, churros and bottomless Basque Bloody Mary’s or Sangria Blanco.

  10. The Capri-Crowned "Best Local Hangover Food" year after year by Boise Weekly, The Capri is the epitome of a greasy spoon: Gruff waitresses that call you "Hon," dated formica tables and a tried-and-true selection of breakfast staples like eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. It's nothing fancy, and that's why people love it.
