Cracking Crawfish at Telaya's Spring Release Party
Last Sunday afternoon was an ideal day for Telaya Wine Co.'s Spring Release Playa Party at the Riverside Hotel. The sun cast a warm glow on bare shoulders and a light breeze blew threw the shaded gazebo where Telaya poured its new releases.
Sitting on the grass under a large tree, we dug into some fresh crawfish that Telaya Winemaker Earl Sullivan had shipped in live from Louisiana. We also checked out renderings of the winery's ambitious plans for its new production facility and tasting room adjacent to the Boise Greenbelt in Garden City.
Telaya is also hosting another, more intimate party to celebrate the winery's new releases and expansion plans. On Thursday, May 21, Telaya will host a five-course Winemaker's Release Dinner at its current 44th Street tasting room.
The dinner will be prepared by Anna and Michael Tapia of Kindness and cost $75 a person. Only 40 seats are available. Click on the link above for tickets.
