The Drunken Pancake Now Serving Beer-Infused Flapjacks

I just stumbled across The Drunken Pancake, a new food cart that launched in downtown Boise Saturday, May 16. According to its Facebook page, the cart served up beer-infused flapjacks—in flavors like Redd's Strawberry Ale and Rogue Hazelnut Nutella—to sticky fingered downtowners until 2:30 a.m. Saturday across the street from Humpin' Hannah's. Owners Adam Smith and fiancé Katy Croswell plan to get their griddle going every Friday and Saturday night near Sixth and Main streets.

From the company's website: "At The Drunken Pancake, we love two things: Pancakes and beer! What better way to enjoy them than combining them together? It’s always a good time for breakfast, that is why we are open late night to satisfy those drunken cravings. We thrive to keep you on your feet with our beer inspired breakfast creations. Experimenting with all different types of ales to bring you endless drunken pancake combinations."

Here are a few photos of flapjack creations from The Drunken Pancake's Facebook page, where you can find updates on the cart's location:
